Biker Eldorado Monte Baldo

Monte Baldo and the northern Lake Garda area is a mountain biker’s paradise with countless tours for different abilities. Many of these tours are widely known from “Moser” So why book a mountain bike camp with guided tours?
You can ride in a relaxed manner, without having to concentrate on finding your way. Also, you will be able to go along trials that are not mentioned by any guide book. You will get to know friendly people, and can take advantage of technical advice given by the guides. Apart from that, there are plenty of tours that cannot be found in any guide book, especially in the southern area of Monte Baldo which start at Torri del Benaco, Garda or San Zeno di Montagna.
NEW in 2007: BIKE SHUTTLE BUS!
With our new bike bus and bike trailer we take our guests as well as participants of the mountain bike camp and the sport hotel’s program to the starting points of tours in the Arco area or in the southern area of Lake Garda. In some off-season weeks we offer this as a FREE service!
Admittedly, Malcesine at the eastern shore of Lake Garda does not offer the same variety of tours as Torbole or the southern area of the lake. From Malcesine, however, there are a lot of tours that suit different abilities and are less well-known than the tours around Torbole, the mountain bikers’ mekka. Our hotel guests do not have to worry about this anyway, as the bike bus will comfortably take them to the starting places of the tours at Torbole or Garda. The contribution towards costs amounts to approx. €15 and this will be divided among the passengers (1-8 people).

 

 

The bike hotel Villa Orizzonte

The Stickl sport hotel Villa Orizzonte is also an ideal place for your mountain biking holidays. Mountain bikers feel at home in a hotel that is almost exclusively booked by active people and sports enthusiasts. In the adjacent hotel building, close to the pool, they will find the complete range of services for mountain bikers and active guests:

• the sport camp’s booking office
• The bike rental service
• The service station where you can clean and repair mountain bikes
• Changing rooms with showers
• A bike shed for privately owned mountain bikes

Further services for mountain bikers include a free laundry service for mountain biking clothes, and, not least of all, a luxurious buffet breakfast with muesli, fruit and juices. Lunch packages for bicycle tours can be ordered at breakfast time, on request, for € 4.
Special mountain bike weeks 2007: ALL INCLUSIVE offer from 22 April - 20 May and in the autumn from 30 September to 28 October 2007. This includes, in addition to boats, Cats and surf boards, the use of bikes at only € 299 (& B&B at the hotel and sports package.)
Those who are exclusively interested in mountain biking and bring along their own bicycles, can book the bike specials during these weeks. You will find a more detailed description in the following paragraph.

 

 

 

 

 

Biketours are more than just cycling

Go for the group feeling, fabulous tours with plenty of specials that only a local guide knows. After an exploring tour on Sunday, he will know his “crew” and will arrange tours that perfectly reflect the performance level of the group.
Go for a mixture of experiencing nature, socializing with like-minded people, and taking part in a fitness program
Mountain bike camp, this is also about improving your technical skills. After all, mountain biking is much more than riding a bicycle!

In a nutshell: Taking part in a mountain bike week instead of biking on your own is a worthwhile experience.
Week camps
From April until the end of October, with hotel or apartment. This will also include hired bikes and 5 guided half-day tours with a sports camp tour guide.
Weekend camps:
You will arrive on a Saturday before 9:00 am at the sports camp. Offer includes B&B for one night, bike rental, and half-day tours on Saturday and Sunday.
Special arrangements on public holidays.
Ascension Day and Corpus Christi, Thursday until Sunday. This includes B&B at the hotel for three nights, bike rental and three half-day tours.
Bike Discovery
In the course of one week, you will get to know the premium tours of the three provinces adjacent to Lake Garda: Trentino, Verona and Brescia. The week program includes B&B with buffet breakfast, bike rental and 5 half-day tours. The tour guide will arrange boat transfer from Malcesine to Limone in the western part of Lake Garda, as well as transfer to the Monte Baldo cable car near Malcesine. Our bike trailer and service bus will take you to Arco in Trentino. We will charge a supplement for extra services, such as the cable car and boat transfer, if you book the bike discovery program as part of a week package deal. 

Special weeks

Spring and autumn offer ideal conditions for mountain bikers on Lake Garda. More and more mountain bikers have come to appreciate the mild climate and less frequented biking routes and tracks at this time. As a result they begin their biking summer season at a time when, at the northern side of the Alps, the skiing season is still in full swing.
From 24th April until the end of May, and from 30th September until the end of October we offer our guests mountain biking weeks with a full-time tour program-with attractive services and at great value for money.
Attractive EXTRA for those who book our mountain biking special weeks: We offer a free bike shuttle with our new biking bus, taking you to the best starting places for many tours in the northern and southern area of the lake. Bikes are carried with a trailer. The participants will be divided up into groups, depending on their abilities. They will take part in tours that reflect their skill level.
The week program includes B&B for seven nights at the Villa Orizzonte, with mountain biker’s breakfast, a lunch package, and 5 tours with hired bikes in various areas of Lake Garda, the complete package deal at only € 346.
There will be a reduction of € 50 € for those participants who bring along their own bikes.
