The concept of this monohull foiler is clear: learn to fly quickly and safely, especially without any particular fitness level. With the tried and tested foil configuration, the boat flies stably over the water. "Keep it simple" is another important aspect of the Birdyfish. Robust accessories from Harken, only the necessary adjustment options and no excessive technology down to the last detail - all this contributes to the user's comfort. The sailor on the Birdyfish should quickly enjoy foiling, even in winds of up to 23 knots, and feel safe.
With the gennaker, the boat starts at wind speeds of just under 10 knots and is very manoeuvrable even at 20 knots. It takes no more than an hour from arriving on the beach with the trailer to the start of sailing. The Birdyfish also impresses in terms of comfort and handling. A cool foiler for dinghy sailors who can experience the new dimension of foiling from day one.

The Birdfish offers a wide range of possible applications.
Simply "sail" in light winds as with any dinghy.
Take off from 10-12 knots of wind without having to adjust the foils. Just sail fast with feeling or better fly.
Crossing new sailing boundaries with the Genacker in medium wind forces with a sporty crew at over 20 knots.
And above all, the Birdyfish does not require top physical performance. No harness, just ride out like on a dinghy.

Every sailor is equipped with helmet and waterproof radio, gets all instructions at the right moment and can implement them immediately. Stickl Sportcamp has been successfully training with radio for 20 years in all sailing courses and this method also guarantees fast learning progress in foiling.
Prerequisites:
Foiling is only recommended for very experienced dinghy sailors who have a feel for tippy planing dinghies and speed. Experienced planing dinghy sailors only need a short introduction on the Birdyfish - then they can set off on their first "free flight"
Anyone who feels unsure and prefers to have an intro session with a trainer should make an appointment, preferably at the weekend. The trainer accompanies the crew on his trainer boat and coaches the sailors by radio.
Contents of an intro session
Duration of the session: 3 hours with briefing and preparation on land and water training.
We run the new Beach Hotel Rosa ourselves and try to offer especially the kiters, surfers, wing surfers and foilers an optimal service directly on the beach next to the sport camp station.
Super comfort for all "board sports" and foilers who can wait for the right wind window on site.
Have breakfast, put on your neos, get your kites, wings and boards from storage and board the shuttle boat directly at the hotel jetty!
