In perfect conditions the participants of the VDWS workshop "Wingsurf& Foil" could start into the season 2021. Exchange of experience and training for the participating surf and kite instructors who will teach this new board sport in the future is on the agenda for the next few days. It's about the right technique, methodology and organisation of the lessons with different prerequisites, skills and wind conditions. How intensive does the preparation with wingsurf training have to be before you venture onto the wingfoil.
The first day was already a very positive start with trainer colleagues from other schools, from Switzerland, Austria and our team.
In any case, we are well prepared for our first " winger" as the surfers with the wing in their hands are also called. An exciting new development and a real enrichment of the board sports.

Let's wing together

Finally, some positive news. With the 1st of May we have officially opened the season. Boats, catamarans, surfboards, foiling equipment and also our team are ready to go!

On Monday we start with an advanced training for our surf and kite team with a Wing-Foil course of the VDWS, which we organized in the sport camp.

For our guests from the region and others who have no entry restriction due to the 5-day quarantine requirement, the first courses will be held from the weekend of 8-9 May.

On May 15, the current quarantine requirement will expire and we can go back to "normal mode" after that!
We are very happy that many patient and confident sport camp friends have kept up their bookings to set sail with us again soon. Of course, we are also prepared for last-minute additional bookings and will do our best to fulfill all wishes.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive with a negative PCR/antigen test or proof of vaccination! In Malcesine you can easily get tested at the pharmacy and then participate in all sports activities without any worries. Our team is tested weekly and of course we continue to comply with all Corona rules and also offer masks for sale.

Hello dear sport camp guests!

In a few days we start with the construction of the station at the Lago. Boats and catamarans, surfboards and service boats will be ready for use at Easter! Whether we can open on this date depends on the infection situation in the Veneto region. We will publish here all the news about it and we will inform you about the starting date of our first courses.
