Prerequisites:

Absolutely no experience with water sports, previous knowledge through surfing course or own surfing experience, sailing courses longer than 2 years ago and no practice afterwards, sailing on dinghies and keelboats, sailing on charter trips, little experience sailing on keel yachts, sailing on catamarans.

Course Content:

Basic Ticket Theory
Set sail and recover
Wind and Steering Courses
Wait position
Tacking and jibing
capsize and right
Buoy overboard manoeuvre
Mooring on the beach and buoy
Instruction in harness sailing
Theory exam for the VDWS Cat basic licence
Practical exam for the VDWS Cat basic licence

EquipmentWe provide wetsuits or sailing pants and jackets and life jackets. Sailing shoes are not provided. You can buy suitable sailing shoes or neoprene slippers on site.

Course times:

The course times depend on wind conditions and course level. To ensure that each course group goes out on the water in the best possible conditions, the course times are redefined daily and posted online on the SERVICE PAGE mobil.stickl.com from 7.30 - 8.30 am.

Equipment:

We provide wetsuits, harnesses and life jackets free of charge. You should bring your own shoes. Or you can purchase the ideal neoprene slippers for just €40 on site. Extras: VDWS Cat basic licence. Registration and examination fee 30,-€ before
