“Cat sailors with experience on an 18-foot catamaran or graduates of at least 1-2 Cat-P 2 courses get the finishing touches!“

Prerequisites:

For cat sailors who sail safely up to 4-5 bft, sail double harness, are proficient in genoa sailing and want to improve their performance. Sailing is on 18 foot Hobie Cat TIGER and WILD CAT.

Course Content:

Trim of a modern cat rig and sail. Power and depower, use of mast rotation, cunningham and all trim options.
Trapeze technique, maneuvers and trimming from the trapeze.
Everything about genoa sailing. Flyer technique, setting and recovery in the buoy course, gybes,
Righting after capsize with genack.
Genacker and trapeze

Equipment:

We provide wetsuits, harnesses and life jackets free of charge. Shoes should be brought along. Or you can purchase the ideal neoprene slippers for only 30,- € on site.

Course times:

The course times depend on wind conditions and course level. In order to ensure that each course group is on the water in the best possible conditions, the course times are set daily and are published at 8.20 a.m. on the website. mobile.stickl.com online.

TOP:
Those who want their training sessions on video will be fitted with a GOPRO camera and can download the files from Dropbox after the course week. Video recordings are also used in the context of theory lessons.

Special dates

We always want to offer our guests optimal homogeneous course groups. Therefore, there are weekly alternating dates for sailors who are taking the P2 course for the first time or would like to repeat it again, and as an alternative for "old hands" who have already completed several courses, the P2 Special - dates.
