Sailing training with Seascape 18 on a perfection course with a professional team

Stickl Sports Camp

The perfection course on the Seascape is all about fine sailing technique and new manoeuvres such as furling and genoa sailing!

The goal of the course is to:
Learn the finer points of sailing technique and develop a feel for fast sailing! The Seascape 18 is very close to a dinghy, although she is equipped with a swing keel. She can capsize, but will right herself on her own. But mistakes are punished and weight trim plays a big part. So team coordination is key. Training on the Seascape at this level is also a good school for any cruising sailor who wants to understand his boat better.

Prerequisite:

Sailing experience on sporty dinghies or keelboats. Participation in an F 2 course with Roll-Genacker. We recommend booking the F course as an introduction to sporty sailing for "thick-ship sailors".

Course Content:

Correct trim in any wind
Crew Coordination
Boat handling in all situations
Perfecting the maneuvering technique
Genoa sailing - setting, jibing, recovering
light-wind roll reversals
Roller jib with neck

Issue of rental equipment SA and SO from 9.00 a.m. onwards
Welcome drink and briefing on Sunday 18.00 in the sports camp
5 days course program a 3 hours per day MO-FR

Welcome evening on MO.in the restaurant ROSA BEACH *
Final regatta
Closing evening on FR. with prize-giving at the ROSA BEACH restaurant*

Equipment:
We provide wetsuits or sailing trousers and jackets as well as life jackets. Sailing shoes are not provided. You can buy suitable sailing shoes or neoprene slippers on site at the sports camp for just €40.

Course times:

The course times depend on the wind and weather and the level of the course group. They are therefore redefined daily and published on the Internet at mobil.stickl.com from 7.30 - 8.30 am
