Perfection course 1 on Hobie Pearl is sailed with furling genack. Double harness and manoeuvre training in all wind conditions create the basis for the perfection course 2 on Hobie Tiger and Wildcat.

Cat Course Perfection 1

Gesegelt wird bei VENTO am Morgen mit Windstärke 4 – 6 und schwierigen Wellen mit dem Hobie Pearl. Bei weniger Wind am Nachmittag finden die Trainingseinheiten mit Genacker statt. In diesem Kurs lernen die Teilnehmer sehr schnell und sicher durch den Rollgenacker das „Flyern“ auf einem Rumpf und Halsen mit Genacker und bereiten sich auf das Segeln auf F-18 Catamaranen wie Hobie Tiger und Wild Cat im P2-Kurs vor.

Prerequisites:

Cat experience through several F-courses in sports camp or / and sailing practice and routine in wind force 4 + with helmsman trapeze and double trapeze. Physical requirements for strong wind sailing ( condition, strength and agility.

Course Content:

Trapeze and double trapeze
manoeuvre from the trapeze
Trimming from the trapeze, crew coordination
"Flyering "with Genacker
Genacker Maneuver
Technique and correct trim in different wind strengths

Issue of rental equipment SA and SO from 9.00 a.m. onwards
Welcome drink and briefing on Sunday 18.00 in the sports camp

Equipment:

We provide wetsuits, harnesses and life jackets free of charge. You should bring your own shoes. Or you can purchase the ideal neoprene slippers for just €40 on site.

Course times:

The course times depend on wind conditions and course level. To ensure that each course group goes out on the water in the best possible conditions, the course times are redefined daily and are from 7.30-8.30 on mobile.stickl.com online.
