Prerequisites:

For cat sailors who sail safely up to 4-5 bft, sail double harness, are proficient in genoa sailing and want to improve their performance. Sailing is on 18 foot Hobie Cat TIGER and WILD CAT.

Course Content:

Trim of a modern cat rig and sail. Power and depower, use of mast rotation, cunningham and all trim options.
Trapeze technique, maneuvers and trimming from the trapeze.
Everything about genoa sailing. Flyer technique, setting and recovery in the buoy course, gybes,
Righting after capsize with genack.

Equipment:

We provide wetsuits, harnesses and life jackets free of charge. You should bring your own shoes. Or you can purchase the ideal neoprene slippers for just €40 on site.

Course times:

The course times depend on wind conditions and course level. To ensure that each course group goes out on the water in the best possible conditions, the course times are redefined daily and run from 7.30-8.30 a.m. at mobile.stickl.com online.

If you want your training sessions on video, you can hire a GOPRO camera. Video recordings are also used as part of theory lessons.

Wir wollen unseren Gästen immer optimale homogene Kursgruppen anbieten. Deshalb gibt es im Wechsel Termine für Segler, die zum ersten Mal den P2 -Kurs belegen oder gerne noch einmal wiederholen wollen, und als Alternative für „alte Hasen“ die schon mehrere Kurse absolviert haben die P2-Spezial – Termine.
