Windsurf-Foilen, über der Wasseroberfläche schweben und bei nur 3 Windstärken lautlos übers Wasser heizen-das beindruckt immer mehr Windsurfer. Eine neue Herausforderung, neue Technik, die erlernt werden muss. Die Faszination der Effizienz, die Foiling bietet, bringt immer mehr Windsurfer in die Lüfte. Gerade an Revieren mit leichtem bis mittleren Wind bietet sich damit eine völlig neue Möglichkeit beim Windsurfen oder besser Fliegen auf dem Windsurfboard wieder viel Spaß zu haben. Mit weniger Segelfläche schon bei knapp 8 Knoten abzuheben ist keine Hexerei. Ganz im Gegenteil ist Foilen relativ leicht erlernbar, vorausgesetzt man ist auf dem „normalen Funboard“ ein „alter Hase“ und beherrscht sein Windsurfboard mit allen relevanten Manövern im Gleitmodus. Foilen ist nichts für Einsteiger und Schwertboard-Piloten.
On Lake Garda the best conditions are in the middle part of the lake in Malcesine, where the Ora blows with 2-4 Beaufort. We have already started windsurfing foiling in 2015 and have gained valuable experience in training.
Since May 2018 we now offer several weekend camps with STARBORD. Test board and foils and train with professionals is the concept. In addition to the camp program, there is the possibility to book courses and private lessons or to rent the foil board.

Windsurfing foils, hovering above the water surface and silently racing over the water with only 3 wind forces-this impresses more and more windsurfers. A new challenge, a new technique that has to be learned. The fascination of the efficiency that foiling offers brings more and more windsurfers into the air. Especially at spots with light to medium winds, this offers a completely new possibility to have a lot of fun while windsurfing or better flying on the windsurfing board again.

After a test season in 2017, we have also been going full throttle with windsurfing foiling since the summer of 2018! With the Starboard 147 Carbon we provide the best equipment.

Theory and dry training and intensive training with radio helmets are part of the program. A trainer boat is always on the water and all participants get their photos and videos at the end of the course.
Course times:
The course times will be determined by the coach at short notice according to the wind situation and communicated via Whatsapp. Ready for take-off at the weekend course from Saturday 8.30 a.m. to Sunday 4.00 p.m.
Equipment:
We provide wetsuits, harness and life jackets free of charge. Shoes should be brought along. Or you can purchase the ideal neoprene slippers for only 30€ on site.
